Cave 1 Diver - The Fundamentals of Cave Diving

What Will You Learn in the Cave 1 Course?

- Safe planning and execution of cave dives.

Practical Details
Cave 1 is a technical course conducted with a twinset or sidemount configuration. Once certified, you will be allowed to:
- Penetrate caves up to a maximum distance of 300 meters.
- Pass one 'T', granting access to side passages.
- Use the rule of 1/3 for gas management instead of the stricter 1/6 rule.
It is important to note that jumps and gaps are not allowed in this course, keeping the focus on safe exploration and mastering fundamental skills.
Entry Requirements
To participate in the Cave 1 course, you must meet the following requirements:
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Be certified as a
- RAID Nitrox Diver, Deep 40 Diver en Master Rescue Diver or hold an equivalent level with another organization.
- Have experience with navigation and diving in low-visibility or night conditions.
- Provide current certifications in CPR, first aid, and oxygen provider.
